We have a place to live!

Hello all!

We signed a lease on an apartment in Seattle! The complex sits up on what is known as "Boeing Hill". Apparently, back in the day, Boeing executives built their houses on this hill so that they could overlook their work. We are only minutes from Josh's job, and many hospitals are nearby (very convenient for a working nurse).

Keeping the blog updated proves to be difficult, as the internet connections in the thriving metropolis of Southard, OK [har har har ;)] are not fast enough to support picture uploads. After the wedding, Josh and I look forward to being able to properly catch you up with all of the happenings!

Bridal Shower in Broken Arrow

The food was so pretty (and not to mention TASTY)! Thank you Kristin Schriks and Kathy Steveson for hosting such an amazing bridal shower!

Notice the deer to the left in front of the fireplace. Yes that's right, it is wearing a veil! The hostesses covered every little detail.

We're Getting Married!!!!!

Ever since anyone can remember, Josh had a thing for airplanes (or any moving parts for that matter). He knew it would be hard work, but no one was surprised when he set his mind to getting his Aerospace Engineering Degree. Here he is in his graduation gown holding the plane he helped design and build with his DBF team this year. They did very well in competition!

This is also one of the pictures he tricked Rhonda with. Josh wanted her to come along to help when he got his graduation pictures taken....but....

He proposed!

These are the real time action shots. I (Rhonda) was busy reenacting "our moment" at Starbucks we shared a few years ago when he held the door open for for me. Even though we met years before, I realized as I turned around to say "thank you" that he was
THE ONE.
We always joked that the "door moment" at Starbucks was the 5 seconds that changed my life forever. (I say only my life because Josh knew we were perfect for each other long before I did.) So this time, as I turned around to say thank you for getting the door, I saw him down on one knee!
